The Earth in a Headlock: The Increase of Infectious Diseases

In this radio segment, Dr. Aaron Bernstein speaks with Deutschlandradio about the health impacts of climate change.

Though the segment focuses on infectious disease in particular, Dr. Bernstein warns that there are other health problems to consider as well; for example, how climate change will impact our ability to produce food, and how coastal regions will endure rising sea levels and frequent storms. He notes that these problems are already apparent, and that people who are forced to leave their homelands always do so at the expense of their health.
